A Journey Through History: Our Class Trip To Weimar

Just a short time ago, our ninth-grade class set off on an exciting trip to Weimar, breathtaking and filled with dfferent emotions.

For example, we took a guided tour through the city. We explored many historical sights in Weimar, including old buildings and statues of important figures. The visit to the Buchenwald concentration camp was very interesting.   Reading about and seeing what happend to the prisoners gve us a strong impression of the historical event. Even Erfurt was a part of our trip. It was fun doing tasks like taking pictures with different KiKA characters and simply walking through the city.

We also visited the Wartburg, the historic castle where Martin Luther Translated the Bible into German. During our visit, we had a guided tour and walked through the different rooms of the castle.

It was overall a great experience.

Class trips aren’t as boring as people say.
